Tree HostsThank you for your participation in the Kiwanis giving tree. In 20222we helped make Christmas special for 600 kids because of your support.
2023 Giving tree Starting the week of Thanksgiving, Kiwanis will deliver tags and a flier to all those hosts who participated in the 2022 giving tree. The tags include the age and sex of a child and are not specific to an individual child. For youth 14-18 years of age, the tags include suggestions for presents/gift cards to buy. (For those needing a tree, the tree will be delivered with your tags. The tree locations spreadsheet identifies those locations where a tree will be delivered. Please decorate the tree with these tags. New Host for 2023 If you did not participate in the 2022 giving tree event and would like to join for 2023, please email [email protected]. Let us know if you need a tree. Present pick up Each tree host has a Kiwanis caretaker assigned to them. (see Tree Locations) This person will be your contact for all questions and needs related to the giving tree. (dates, need for more tags, pick up requests etc) Presents will be picked up at your location by your caretaker on dates that you and your caretaker determine. Our goal is to have all gifts delivered to the Casino by 12/11/2023. Or you can let your caretaker know that you will deliver the presents to the Casino yourself on 12/11. If you deliver to the casino,go to the valet entrance. You will see the Kiwanis trailer before you reach the main door. Park next to the trailer and knock on the adjacent casino door. Someone will let you in and help you unload your gifts. Presents collected after December 14 If you receive presents after the pick up date, contact your Kiwanis caretaker, and they will pick them up. (We collect presents up to the end of the year as some families miss the event.) Christmas store Kiwanis will collect gifts from all the tree locations and set up a Christmas store at the Snoqualmie Casino. You are welcome to come visit on Dec 11 from 8 am-8 PM or Dec 12 from 8 am -8 pm or check in if you are delivering gifts. If you would like to volunteer to help at the store, please check out the volunteer tab on this website. |
